A grandmother’s lost ravioli recipe becomes a quest story in Laura Schenone’s new family memoir, “The Lost Ravioli Recipes of Hoboken.” Today, the Montclair author combines a book-signing with a ravioli-making demonstration (showing both hand-rolled and machine-rolled methods.) Schenone will also be raffling off a box of 50 ravioli as a door prize. The book signing, open to the public, will take place Montclair Women’s Club 3 to 6 pm, 82 Union Street.

Montclair is relatively heterogenous and, it could fairly be said, takes pride in its diversity. Has Montclair named a street or school after Dr. King? Why is that?
