kaianderson.jpgFive-year-old Kai Anderson of Manhattan was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. Last week, we wrote about his heartbreaking story.
Kai needs a bone marrow transplant. You can help by going down to the Montclair Family YMCA tomorrow and take a simple cheek swab test to see if you are a match. If you are, donating bone marrow is a simple out-patient procedure.
Here are the details…

Bone Marrow Donor Drive for Kai
Who: Anyone over 18.
What: Bone marrow donor drive for a little boy named Kai, who just turned 5. He was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia and his only hope for survival is a bone marrow transplant within the next 3 months. Getting tested for compatibility takes only a few minutes. To see if you are a match, all that is required is a simple cheek swab, and a little paperwork. If the marrow is a match, donors are asked to undergo one of two minor, non-invasive outpatient procedures. It is that simple to give someone a second chance at life.
Where: The Montclair YMCA Family Center, 159 Glenridge Avenue, Montclair, NJ, 07042.
When: Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Cost: Free. For more information contact Sarah Colwell.

I forgot about the drive today. Is there anyway to still see if I am a match?

Christie's political career is finished and quite frankly, the state of New Jersey is so over him and his big mouth bully tactics that we're all wishing his replacement was part of the Nov 8 election. Hooking his caboose to the disastrous Trump campaign is his only option.
