I had a great time reading at Watchung Booksellers for The Little Read yesterday. The day was a great success and families throughout Montclair enjoyed it. Bradford School had a huge crowd thanks to artist Jerry Pinkney’s visit. They sent Barista Kids a message:

We had a great turn-out at the Bradford Little Read site this morning (approx 60 – 75 adults and children attended) and a lot of Jerry’s books were purchased and signed right on site. You helped make that happen with your piece. On behalf of Bradford School, the Montclair Public Library and Jerry Pinkney, thanks again!

Over at Bobbi Brown Studio, Barista Debbie Galant and her Mister Barista, Warren Levinson read.

Did you enjoy The Little Read? Where did you go and who read?

Montclair is relatively heterogenous and, it could fairly be said, takes pride in its diversity. Has Montclair named a street or school after Dr. King? Why is that?
