Pet ResQ Inc. and Tenafly’s Chamber of Commerce will present the in-dog-ural Woofstock festival on Sunday, Oct. 24, from 10 AM to 5 PM at Municipal Circle Park, Tenafly (Tenafly Road & Washington Ave).

There will be special appearances by dog experts Joey Vallini and Bill Berloni. Vallini, who has appeared on NBC, FOX, and Animal Planet, brings 35 years of dog grooming expertise to the event. For more than 30 years, Berloni has provided training for animals featured in live performances – from Broadway to ballet – as well as film, television and commercial work.

This event is free, although donations are encourgaed to benefit Pet ResQ Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted pets. Most of the dogs rescued by the organization have been abused, are handicapped, or were simply not wanted anymore due to their age. Pet ResQ provides these animals with new owners, foster care, veterinary care, food, and shelter. Many of the animals rescued by Pet ResQ have been able to be rehabilitated and transitioned into stable and loving environments. Pet ResQ Inc. exists solely on donations and volunteers efforts.

Dogs will be available for adoption and attendees are invited to bring their own dogs as well as there will be plenty of fun activities including:

• Doggy Talent Shows

• Agility Courses

• Training Demos

• Paw Painting

• Bobbin’ For Balls

• Strut Your Mutt Costume Parade

Adopted dogs will partake in The Red Carpet Walk with their new owners and will receive a free day of pampering from the Best of Breed Pet Salon in Tenafly.
