A reader writes that she found a mixed-breed, husky-type dog on Saturday, August 6, around 3:30 pm near Edgemont Park in Montclair. She said that he is very friendly and appeared well-cared for. The dog is wearing a multi-colored “Dog Whisperer” collar but no tag.

He also looks HOT !! Maybe he’s like a cold feed bowl of black water ??

Too many lost doggies and kitties lately! PLEASE invest in a nametag for your pets, even if they’re just indoor pets. You never know…someone could accidently leave a door open. It just takes a second.

Yes! My cat is an indoor pet and microchipped! It’s so simple, not expensive, and provides peace of mind.

My cats are all indoors, and I go in and out through the back door, where I have a closed-in porch as a buffer.

Thanks for reporting on this, Steven. I'm looking forward to learning about the Board's vision for the district with the addition of Eve Robinson and Laura Hertzog.
