Wicked Windows at Neiman’s

If you’re going to the Mall at Short Hills on Friday to pick up your new iPhone 4S, at the Apple Store maybe you can stand in the line with a buddy (a genius yesterday told me to expect multi-hour waits) and take turns checking out the displays at Neiman Marcus just down the hall. They’re featuring a bunch of actual costumes from the Broadway show “Wicked,” which are paired with actual outfits and accessories sold in the store — and it’s a pretty dazzling display. On Friday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Marina Reti, assistant designer to Tony-award-winning designer Susan Hilferty, will give guided walking tours of the costumes. Tour space is limited: Call 973.218.2946 to reserve as spot.

Even if you can’t take the tour, the “Wicked” display will be up through Sunday. Here’s what you’ll see.

Interesting developments in the Afterglow story. It can see it as a special on the Bravo network.
