There are about 105 houses showing this weekend in Montclair, Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, West Orange, South Orange, Maplewood and Millburn. While new listings continue to be brisk, new reductions are becoming more prevalent as well.

    Is it possible that the taxes shown for the west orange condo are listed incorrectly? When I looked at the actual listing it indicated that they were only around $8000, but in the caption it says around $14,000.

    Note to the owners of the Baldwin property: If you lose the horrific blue shag rug, have the floors sanded and finished, update the kitchen (paint the cabinets, put tile on the floor, add a new counter top get new appliances) and put a nice neutral color on all the walls, you might have a better shot at selling. Yes, you’ll have to spend about $15k, but it will be worth it.
