The Montclair Gridiron Club will be conducting a charity drive at the Mounties football games on Thanksgiving Day at 10:30 am and on December 1 at 1 pm.

Tomorrow’s game is the annual Thanksgiving Football Classic between the Mounties and the Bloomfield Bengals. For over 80 years, the Bengals and Mounties have faced each other on Thanksgiving.

Go cheer for your team and bring donations of non-perishable food and baby items to help our neighbors in need!

Speaking of donations, Montclair HS has a chance to win a $5,000 donation if enough people vote for offensive lineman Sam Zeff in the Timex Heart of a Giant competition. Read about it here and vote!

These guys are an inspiration. I can’t imagine playing ping-pong at such an advanced age, let alone a contact sport.
