WalnutFest FPWalnut Street showed off all it has to offer yesterday at the second annual Walnut Street Sidewalk Fair, which showcased local Montclair vendors and offered jewelry, clothing, food , drinks, games and children’s activities. At Montclair Bread Company, kids of all ages were treated to yummy fresh baked donuts compliments of Barista Kids.

Free slices of a most delicious margherita pizza was served by Panzano Pizzeria – Trattoria and Le Salbuen Local Organic Cafe gave away sample dishes of their sweet potato vegetable hash. Montclair B.A.B.Y. celebrating its second anniversary and Mommies 24/7 were among the businesses offering products and services for new and expectant mothers. Yoga and fitness studios were represented as well. Live music outside Trumpets Jazz Club entertained the crowds. The Walnut Street community is situated between Forest Street and Grove Streets is one of Montclair’s most eclectic areas. Every Saturday, the Farmers Market sets up in the parking lot of the Walnut Street Train Station located in the heart of the neighborhood.
