Being a senior on a sports team is bittersweet– there is excitement at moving forward, along with some sadness at playing that final season. Portraits by Michael Stahl recently captured seniors on the Montclair girls softball team and lacrosse team.

“This started by happenstance, but we’d be happy to create senior group portraits for other high school spring sport teams,” says Stahl. “We did this gratis, because it’s fun. We are willing to do more teams. A coach or a parent from a booster club just needs to contact us.

Portraits by Michael Stahl is great. We’ve had family pictures taken there for years; he and his wife do a wonderful job of getting both formal and casual shots.

Montclair is relatively heterogenous and, it could fairly be said, takes pride in its diversity. Has Montclair named a street or school after Dr. King? Why is that?
