Topsy Turvy Bus

Did you see a crazy upside down, right side up school bus in Montclair this morning? Your eyes weren’t playing tricks on you. The Topsy Turvy bus is in town!

Teva, a Jewish education program, takes kids and educators on an environmental experience that fosters Jewish, ecological, and food sustainability. They do it all on a Topsy-Turvy School Bus that runs on used vegetable-oil collected from restaurants along the way! The bus is showing communities that we have the power to change the course of history and flip the environmental damage we see around us on its head.

Molly Kulwin of Montclair is one of five educators on the Topsy Turvy Bus this summer. So far this summer, she and the group have gone to camps in the northeast and the Midwest talking about and presenting programs on the environment, sustainability, climate change, etc. Below is a photo of Molly and her brother Noah when she stopped in for a home visit with the Topsy Turvy bus.
