The Y believes that healthy habits learned at an early age will last a lifetime. Some additional spots in the Y’s 7th Grade Initiative program are now available at the YMCA of Montclair. The memberships are FREE and available during the school year to 7th Graders who live in their service area–Bloomfield, Cedar Grove, Clifton, Glen Ridge, Montclair and Verona. (Memberships will be given out on a first-come-first served basis.)

Montclair is relatively heterogenous and, it could fairly be said, takes pride in its diversity. Has Montclair named a street or school after Dr. King? Why is that?
