mitten treeThe Montclair Police Department will host a “Mitten Tree” charity event from January 9 through February 1.  A “tree” will be located in the lobby of police headquarters for officers and residents to drop off and donate scarves, mittens and hats, which will be donated to MESH (Montclair Emergency Services for the Homeless) for those in need during this cold time of year.  Donations can be either new or gently used.

Donations may be dropped off at any time at 647 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair Police Headquarters.  Contact Ofc. Robert Anderson at 973-509-4752 or  Ofc. Paul Rusiniak at 973-509-4776 with any questions.
