If You Loved “The Clair,” Check Out the The Clair Concert, 7/7 at Wellmont Theater

You remember him as the artist who created “The Clair,” our town’s dope theme song that went viral with 25,000 views and props from Urban Outfitters. Now almost a year later, Montclair’s Samad Savage is back with “The Clair Concert” at the Wellmont Theater featuring performers from Montclair and other parts of Essex county.

The goal of the concert is to show Montclair’s potential to be the new Motown of New Jersey, according to Savage. Acts include J.1.DA, The Tennis Boys, Beat Lampers, Jay illicit, Driicky Graham, Bleszt and IB Mattic along with some well-known surprise acts from New Jersey you won’t want to miss. The Clair Concert is on July 7 at 7 p.m. at the Wellmont Theater.

“These young artists from Montclair just want to build something beautiful for their town and the only thing they ask is appreciation and attendance,” says Savage.

Savage is promoting this concert independently with the hope of generating enough ticket sales to create more opportunities to promote local artists and bring more business to the town he loves. Purchase tickets here. To make it more affordable for students, the price with a student ID at the box office is $15.
