Bloomfield Recreation Dept. & Bloomfield College to Host Family Movie Night Outdoors: Moana!

The Bloomfield Recreation Department, in conjunction with Bloomfield College, is hosting an outdoor movie screening of the Disney film ‘Moana’ on Tuesday, October 10th. The film will be screened on a high definition projector onto a 25 foot blow up screen provided by the Bloomfield Recreation Department on the Bloomfield College Quad on Liberty Street and Park Place at 7:00 pm. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for their comfort.

“We are excited to continue the rich tradition of hosting outdoor movie screenings in Downtown Bloomfield. This is a great way to relax, and celebrate community, while encouraging families to come together,” said Bloomfield Recreation Director Michael Sceurman. “On behalf of the Recreation Department, and the Township of Bloomfield, I would like to thank Bloomfield College for their collaboration in making this family-friendly event possible.”

Attendees coming to see ‘Moana’ may park in the Bloomfield College parking lot on Liberty Street for no fee. Bags of popcorn will be sold for $1. In the event of rain, the movie will be screened the followed night, Wednesday, October 11th, at the same time. For questions about this or any other events, contact the Bloomfield Recreation Department at 973-743-9074, or call 973-743-7593 for weather updates.
