The Montclair Cooperative School, 65 Chestnut Street in Montclair, will host the Forest Street Festival on Saturday, October 21 from 10 am – 3 pm (rain date October 22).

The Festival will take place on Forest Street between Chestnut Street and Sylvan Place and on the campus of Montclair Cooperative School.

A selection of talented crafters will be showcasing their specialties throughout the day. Guests can participate in yoga classes for both adults and children, and a full musical lineup is planned.

Younger attendees will enjoy the bouncy house, face painting, and a magic show. There will also be a costume swap, just in time for Halloween. Bring your clean, gently used costume, and trade it for a “new to you” costume. If you don’t have a costume to swap, bring a donation of canned goods for the Human Needs Food Pantry, which serves the Montclair community.

Local favorites, Ruthie’s BBQ & Pizza and Mary’s Happy Camper, will be on-site adding flavor to the festivities.

“The Forest Street Festival is a fantastic opportunity to engage with your neighbors and support your community,” said Judith Grodner, Festival Chair. “We are excited to host the Festival, and we look forward to celebrating the Co-op with you.”
