All Aboard! Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends invite you to explore the rails at the Liberty Science Center. This fall the Liberty Science Center has transformed into the Island of Sodor to the delight of preschoolers (and the young of heart) all over New Jersey.
This interactive exhibit, aimed at children ages 2-8, has everything from an amazing Island of Sodor train table to a kid-sized Thomas Tank Engine for climbing and “conducting” to an area where children can practice fixing and replacing parts of a train. Families familiar with the Thomas Tank Engine can visit, play and learn in Knapford Station, Sodor Steamworks, and Brendam Docks, and more!
The Liberty Science Center knows how to combine learning with joyful fun, and the Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails exhibition is no different. The activities incorporate age-appropriate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts, even as they entertain and bring joy to fans of the show. This exhibit is included in general admission to the Liberty Science Center, and Thomas will stay through May 13th, 2018. Don’t forget that popular mainstays like the Infinity Climber, the Touch Tunnel, as well as new residents, the naked mole rats, all await your visit.
Thanks to the generosity of the Liberty Science Center, Baristanet has a family-four pack of passes for one of our lucky readers.
