Bring on the baskets! Montclair’s own Plum on Park and Plum Bakery owner/chef Natalie Colledge will be competing on Food Network’s Chopped on Thursday, November 9 at 9 pm.
Colledge can’t reveal anything other than this: She competes in a pie-themed challenge — every basket contained a pie, along with other ingredients — and the final dish had to be some kind of pie.
“As nerve racking and stressful as it was I had a great time,” says Colledge. “Working in both Plum on Park’s small kitchen, and the even smaller kitchen at Plum Bakery, I have to be very efficient and neat. In high speed service it’s a must. That experience prepared me for my challenge.”
