Everybody’s a Critic

A Barista friend who went to Friday night’s performance of “Forbidden Christmas or the Doctor and the Patient” at Montclair State’s new Alexander Kasser Theater, sends an e-mail telling us there were major delays in getting out of the Red Hawk Parking deck. A good point. The automatic payment machines, which take credit cards or cash, are painfully slow — a good five minutes per transaction by our estimate. Luckily, we left the Thursday night party early, but we can only imagine the wait if we’d been standing behind a crowd. And in painful dress-up shoes, no less!
The avant garde show, starring dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov, also got a bad review from our friend:”I did not like it.”
