I’m Not Hungry, I’ll Just Pick

Tasteguy_gifWhat does Essex taste like? Pretty darn good. Last year, I attended Taste of Essex, an annual event that brings food and drink from more than 25 area restaurants, caterers, eateries and wineries under one roof. It’s back this year, with a nonstop nosh fest on Tuesday, March 8th, from 6-9 pm (wine, spirits and beer tastings, too). Tickets are $55 ($45 for members); you can easily make a five-course meal (with dessert, of course) from the generous spread of food for sampling. Baristaville food faves from Montclair include Fascino, Dolce Bistro and Kimiko’s as well as Bloomfield’s Formia. Trattoria Fresca and Cravings from Caldwell will be in the house that night, too. Proceeds from a gift auction at the event supports scholarships for area high school and college students. To purchase tickets, click here or buy at Montclair Beadworks on Church Street. Mystery prize for first poster who can identify where the line in the title of this post comes from…

  1. I believe it came from a show on Broadway, where a lady was eating pasta..maybe this might be worth half of a prize:)..

  2. For some reason my email address didn’t post on my first reply. Am I missing something?
Do I claim the mystery prize?
