Get Your Motor Runnin’ For The Foodbank

Today is The Ride for Hunger, presented by The Essex County Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) and Essex County Harley-Davidson, with the Teamsters Joint Council No.73.
With riding season winding down, why not make one of the last fair-weather rides count? This police-escorted ride benefits the FoodBank. Both a fund and food-raising event (non-perishable food donations are requested), the ride takes place rain or shine.

The ride will start at the Meadowlands Sports Complex – Lots 10/12. This location is on the Route 120 side of Giants Stadium and in between Gates B & C. Follow the signs and look for the big, white Teamsters’ truck!

Registration begins at 9AM — coffee and donuts will be available. Drop off your non-perishable food donations. Departure is 10:30 AM sharp! ALL BIKES WELCOME…
The ride will end with an Open House hosted by Essex County Harley-Davidson, located at 168 Bloomfield Ave., Bloomfield (approximately 1/2 mile east of Garden State Parkway exit 148). Check out the new, 2007 bikes; enjoy refreshments, live music by Generation Next, and more…
Raffle ticket and 50/50 drawings, event t-shirts for sale to benefit the FoodBank.
Donation: $20 / Rider & $10 / Passenger and includes a commemorative patch and raffle ticket.
