The Star-Ledger is reporting the shooting death of a 23-year-old Montclair man in Newark yesterday.
Lee Jamar Henderson, 23, of Montclair was outside a home in the 200 block of Bruce Street when someone approached and shot him in the head at about 2:30 a.m., according to authorities.
Henderson, who was from Montclair, had been sitting on a bench with a friend when he was shot, said his grandmother, Maxine Henderson. His friend tried to run away, she said, but the shooter chased him.
