Dog owners have an extra day to get their pets ready for the canine costume caper in the park. Essex County won’t let it rain on their parade and just got announced that the second annual Halloween Canine Parade, originally scheduled for tomorrow is postponed until SUNDAY, October 28, due to anticipated bewitching weather.

All Essex County dog owners and their pets are invited to participate in the free event.
Registration: 10 am to 10:45 am; Parade begins at 11. Essex County South Mountain Dog Park, Crest Drive, South Orange, NJ.
Enter Crest Drive from South Orange Avenue.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places in a variety of categories. Light refreshments and music will be available. For more information, please call 973-268-3517 or 973-268-3518.

  2. Cheese with…., I was being merciful there. I could have sent Sisters Bertha or Teresita. Both bigger, pushier, quicker to lose their tempers (those tight wimples round their faces already seemed conducive to reddish complexions). Bertha even had a German accent, like the SS matrons of legend.

  4. Whatever I did in the Columbia locker rooms, exit 151, was alwayys done manfully, boldly and with the proper attention to good grammar, spelling and all those other things you always seem to be so deficient in.
    Perhaps you were once stepped on as teammmates proceeded to the shower? There’s got to be some explanatiion for the pitifulness both of your sniggering stabs at postings and your life in general.
