Montclair Cooperative School Flu Vaccine Clinic
Montclair is still safe from flu, pretty much, according to Google Flu Tracker. But if last year’s numbers are any indication, New Jersey might get hit in early December. Or not. There’s still time to get your flu shot.
(Or whip out that religious exemption; I hear they are plentiful in our town.)
Who: Kids and adults who would like to get the shot
What: Flu vaccine shots and nasal sprays–thimerosal- and mercury-free, given by Coop school nurse Beth Tengwall, RN
Where: The Montclair Cooperative School
65 Chestnut St
Montclair, NJ 07042
When: Friday, Nov. 21, 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Why: The state of New Jersey now requires all preschool children to get flu vaccines and some local doctor’s offices have run out. Get the shot or start working on that religious exemption.
Cost: $30 for shot; $35 for nasal spray
