Rice Krispie Treats Cooking Class
Who: Ages 5 – 8.
What: Kids will learn the basics of preparing and decorating Rice Krispie Treats.
Where: Le Bakers Dozen, 206 Bellevue Avenue, Montclair, NJ, 07043.
When: Wednesday, August 19 from 2 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.

Thursday, August 20
Big Jeff and the Bouncy People
Who: Kids and their parents who like fun music.
What: Music for children, that will entertain adults too.
Where: Summer in The Park at the Gazebo, Main Street and Whitmore Road, Little Falls, NJ.
When: Thursday, August 20 from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Cost: Free. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs.
Saturday, August 22
Revolution Foods Lunch Box Tour
Who: All ages.
What: Organic snack maker Revolution Foods will be giving away free samples of its products in a nationwide “Lunch Bus” tour this summer and the bus will be stopping at West Orange Whole Foods today. In addition to free food, the tour will have contests and games for children and parents.
Where: Whole Foods, 235 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, NJ.
When: Tuesday, August 22 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Cost: Free.
Monday, August 24
Family Astronomy Program
Who: Stargazers of all ages.
What: In the Night Sky Adventure , presented by Rutgers 4-H Youth Development Program, families get to know the bright stars and constellations of each season. In this interactive workshop, you will build a star finder, put family heroes in the sky, and do a celestial treasure hunt.
Where: Essex County Environmental Center, 621A Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland, NJ.
When: Monday, August 24 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $25 per family.
