dec-MAM.JPGChildren and teenage students of MAM‘s Yard School of Art have their works on exhibit at Boiling Springs Savings Bank in Upper Montclair from now through Jan. 15, 2010. The exhibition, organized by art instructor Nancy Iovino, and flogged here, is open to viewing Monday to Thursday, from 9am to 4pm, and until 6pm on Fridays. On Saturdays, visitors are welcome from 9am to 1pm.
About 35 works of art by the Yard school’s kids are included, representing a range of classes, ages, subject matter and media, including drawing, painting and sculpture. Several of the projects have been inspired by MAM’s groundbreaking exhibition, Cézanne and American Modernism, which has set an attendance record for the Museum and will run through Jan. 3rd.

Three of the Yard School’s pieces will be selected for awards, and Boiling Springs Savings Bank has offered a $50 savings account for each winning artist, along with a $10 gift certificate for other participants.
