Montclair School District isn’t the only one who revised its 2010-2011 calendar. This morning, Glen Ridge school sent out an email blast with a revised calendar for next year. Spring Break has been moved from April 25-29 to April 11-15.
According to the Superintendent’s office, the original date for School Board elections was April 19. When the state realized that April 19, 2011 is the first day of Passover, they moved the elections to April 27. So spring break was moved up so the elections will take place while schools are open.
