Bloomfield’s Neighbor to Neighbor Network Needs Volunteers

Bloomfield’s Neighbor to Neighbor Network (NTNN) needs volunteers for its senior-focused organization. NTNN supports seniors and disabled in the Bloomfield area, but they need your help. NTNN is actively recruiting volunteers from all walks of life — and residents from any town can sign up. Hours and assignments are extremely flexible; you can make a difference just by giving one hour a week.

Volunteers can help by delivering food, visiting and providing company, doing grocery shopping & other errands, lending a hand with minor home repairs, lawn care and gardening or assisting in filling out utility assistance applications. Volunteers are also needed to escort/drive seniors to medical and other essential appointments when other services are not available or accessible. Interested in making a difference? Email Shelley Slafkes, volunteer coordinator, or call (201)259-3080. The NTNN is a not-for- profit 501 (c ) (3) organization and is funded in part by a grant from the Mountainside Health Foundation.
