Cats and Kittens Need Homes

A volunteer with the Homeless Animal Adoption League (HAAL) in Bloomfield wants to remind everyone that there are plenty of cats and kittens at the shelter seeking permanent homes.

The shelter is open to the public:

Saturdays, Noon – 4 pm
Sundays, 10 am – 2 pm
Wednesdays, 6 pm – 8pm

    In related news Jimmytown in Bloomfield wants to remind everyone that there are too many cats and kittens for even the craziest cat lady to own, so please spade and nueter them. Today is as good a day as any

    If only. Don’t know why so many people are adverse to this. To me, if you choose to have an animal, it goes along with the territory. If cost is an issue, there are places that will do it for a reduced fee or in some cases, for free.

    It makes me so angry to think that people will breed their animals while so many cats and dogs die in shelters, simply because there are too many of them.
