Crack Dealer Busted in School Zone

This just in from the Montclair Police Department:

As a result of an ongoing investigation, a search warrant was issued against Ernest Williams for the sale of crack. On 10-15-10 at approximately 4:26 pm, detectives observed Williams walking in the area of Bloomfield Avenue and Elm Street. Upon approaching Williams, detectives advised him about the search warrant. During the course of the investigation, 3 zip-lock bags of crack (with a street value of approximately $60.00) were found on Williams.

Williams, 19, of Montclair, was arrested and charged with possession and distribution of crack, distribution of crack in a school zone (Bullock School), and distribution of crack within 500’ of public housing. Williams is being held on a $25,000 bail and is scheduled to be sent to the county jail
