The Temple Ner Tamid Winter Film series starts with the movie “Food, Inc.” on Sunday, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. This eye-opening documentary explores where the food we purchase really comes from and what it means for the health of future generations. It exposes the comfortable relationships between business and government. By putting profits ahead of consumer safety, big food production businesses, with the complicit help of the USDA and FDA, make sure our grocery shelves are stocked with foods that contribute to skyrocketing American obesity and adult diabetes. Come see this film and you will never eat the same way again.  Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5.  Temple Ner Tamid is at 936 Broad Street in Bloomfield.
