Adam Pollack, Emily Pollack and Lia Schattner of Montclair enjoyed an awesome summer at Jewish overnight camp thanks to receiving a $1,000 One Happy Camper grant from the UJC MetroWest and the Foundation for Jewish Camp.

This summer, new campers can receive $1,000 off their first summer at any of 150+ Jewish overnight camps across the U.S.  From traditional camps to new options such as sports specialty camps, outdoor adventure, teen programs in NYC and on college campuses, special needs programs and more, there is sure to be a camp that is right for every child.  The $1,000 is a non needs-based gift to encourage more children to enjoy the transformative experience of Jewish camp.

One Happy Camper NJ is a free service that is available to help local families find a great camp for their child.  For personalized guidance, including free brochures and DVDs, and details about $1,000 grant, visit here or contact Tracy Levine, your Camp Guide or  call 973.929.2970.

Stopped by on opening day to take out a dozen empanadas. Very welcoming space, especially with the storefront glass open on a warm spring day and sidewalk tables available; and, the staff were warm and engaged. The empanadas are soft and pastry-like, rather than the harder crisper type. They got a thumbs up from the Morales family, who loves them a good empanada!
