Get Musical

Get cool at WBGO’s Free Kids’ Jazz Concert at The Burgdorff Center for Performing Arts in Maplewood. Master Drummer Michael Carvin’s New Quartet presents “Great Music for Great Kids.” (Saturday, April 9)

Rock and groove at Brady Rymer’s latest CD release concert at The Bowery Ballroom in NYC. (Saturday, April 9)

Check out Baristaville’s Talented Kids

Millburn Middle School students will entertain with Cole Porter’s musical farce Anything Goes. You’ll get a kick out of the music. (Opens on Friday, April 8 and runs through Sunday, April 10)

Montclair’s Renaissance students will perform in Time’s On My Side, an original play about a Greek-American boy named Theo and his power to stop time. (Opens on Friday, April 8 and runs through Sunday, April 10)

Attend a Fashion Show

Newark Museum will hold its 7th annual American Girl Fashion Show, with dolls, ice cream, raffles and more. (Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10)

Go to An Expo

The Baby and Toddler Expo in Mountainside will offer workshops, shopping, giveaways, treat and everything needed to gear up for motherhood. (Sunday, April 10)

Get Daffy

The Reeves-Reed Arboretum holds Daffodil Day, a Victorian themed day celebrating over 40,000 daffodils with tea, games, pony rides and more. (April 10)

  1. We took a cruise thru the Cherry Blossom trees, today. 85% are NOT yet in bloom. We saw them unloading the “Port-O-Johnys off the trucks, with power fork lifts. Interesting !
