Winner: Congratulations to shawntv! He’s the winner of the $150 Eforea gift certificate. When we shared the good news with him, he said,”I’m so excited! My wife is really going to love this.” We hope she does!

The perfect Mother’s Day for me is spending the morning with my family over brunch and then spending the rest of the day alone getting pampered. If you’re like me, and I find it hard to believe you’re a mom and you’re not, then this giveaway is for you.

Eforea Spa is the new spa unveiled at the Hilton Short Hills last October. Eforea is “a modern facility featuring a lap swimming pool, luxurious changing lounges, thermal elements, an extensive fitness center including a movement studio, a full service hair and nail salon, a transition lounge for pre- and post- journey relaxation, and 13 oversized treatment rooms.” Sounds like Heaven to me.

In addition to the many luxurious services offered, Eforea has a great spa food and beverage menu so you can sip champagne and snack on fruit while getting rubbed, renewed and relaxed.

  1. i think i deserve to win because last year on april 24th my son Joey Roy was assaulter and left him with brain damage, he has twin boys that miss him so badly, a year has passed and he is still in a vegetated state, he will never be joey again if he survives…he resides in a nursing home and me and my daughter go and see him everyday for at least 8 hours a day, it is emotionally draining for the both of us, he is an hour away from home….court is coming up on may 24th with is really stressing us out…this is the worst nightmare a mother could have…i am physically and emotionally drained…i cry non stop…i want my son back which i know is impossible but miracles can happen..thank you ms dottie roy

  2. I nominate myself. A 43 year old mom of 3, all 3 and under who runs her own business. And even manages to make a profit and keep my kids smiling. Usually. I think my husband might even be happy w me too. But all that leaves me no time for me, this would be a nice forced retreat.

  3. My wife is surely deserving, simply due to the fact that she continues to put up with me.

  4. Definitely my wife. She always puts her family first and rarely takes time alone for herself. A spa treatment would be so appreciated and well-deserved.

  5. It’s all in the name – if I win I may be less cranky, and maybe I’ll change my handle to sereneinmontclair!

  6. A baby with a double ear infection, a full time job out of the house and a new at home business… Bring on the massage!!!

  7. As I started reading this, I was thinking my wife, Mrs. Walleroo, would totally love this. (I am not kidding.) Oh, please, please, please… If you had to live with me, can you even imagine how much you’d need this?

  8. There are a lot of deserving posts above, however my wife has been working non-stop for years and truly deserves this spa prize. She has been running a business, doing all the work herself at night for the last 9 years, working sometimes until I get up the next morning, and then taking care of our two girls all day long. She works tirelessly, a wonderful mother, smart business woman, and wonderful wife. After the last week we’ve had with our oldest daughter in the hospital for 2 days and work turmoil, she is as deserving a person there is for this! (Also, This would also go a long way toward making up for colossal screw up of last years mothers day.) Thanks!

  9. I nominate dottie roy above.

mrs. prof works hard, has a loving husband with whom she’s been together for almost 25 years, a wonderful kid, friends and family. But she has so much love and laughter in her life that despite even the hard work, I couldn’t even compare it to dottie roy.

My thoughts are with you dottie as I pray for that miracle too.

  10. I also nominate Dottie Roy. I remember hearing about the assault last year; I think it was in Pennsylvania. I wouldn’t mind a relaxing day at the spa, but I don’t need it that bad.

  11. My wife deserves this day at the spa like no other. She goes out there into the world and works every day for us. My boys and I love her and wish for this spa day for her.

  12. I nominate my mom jane as she needs some love and pampering after packing up and selling the house she raised my brother in this year.

  13. My friend and neighbor Deb Ellis is hardworking, courageous, warm, generous and very deserving. She is a wonderful Mom and she gives selflessly to the community as well as her family and her job.

  14. Ms. Dottie Roy gets my vote. I was just going to nominate myself because I just can’t afford one…but the nice husband can warm up those hands and get to work 😉 ! Prayers with you Ms. Dottie!!!

  15. My wife. She works full-time while I stay at home with our 7-month old, but is still a rockstar mom making sure our son feels like she’s never been gone all day. She also has been working with me to start our own business. So she’s working 3 full-time jobs and managing them all with style and grace.
