A mother is a person who, seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.
It wasn’t until I had my own children that I really understood it. Mothers, good mothers, make sure their family is taken care of first. It is only then, they relax a moment and do something for themselves– take a class, garden, read a book, or take that last piece of pie.
This Mother’s Day make sure you take care of the special mother in your life, whether it be your mom, your mother-in-law or your wife. Tell her how much you appreciate her and then lavish her with presents and a night out.
What mother doesn’t love flowers? There’s a plethora of flowers, plants and herbs to purchase for the mom with a green thumb.
