Petit Paris Coming to Church Street

The empty space left behind when Terra Tea moved from Church Street to the Montclair library won’t be vacant for long, it seems. Reader Chris Landers sent this photo — a sign of tasty things to come.

What’s your favorite French pastry? I recently treated myself to a Café au lait and a big, buttery croissant while in Quebec City. All I can say is oh là là!

  1. What exactly is a “pastry cafe boutique”? is it a store that sells coffee that comes from a patisserie? Or perhaps it sells “Petit” pastry replicas, as in charm bracelets? Or are we about to have a new wave of “coming soon.”

  2. I once ordered a napoleon, but I bit into a hidden hand somewhere in the midsection.
    I think it was over at the palm Court in the Plaza Hotel. They were serving finger food that day.
    Nonetheless, the crust was delicious, and almost as light and flaky as cathar’s most specious Baristanet dissertation.
