  1. I told you not to play around so much, Phil. There’s only so much flirting with the house cats you can do before something goes awry. Things have a way of starting out light hearted, but they can get serious in a hurry. Those felines can be something. Despite your Don Juan airs, you got in a little too deep, didn’t you, buddy? Fell a little hard for that cute Abyssinian, didn’t you? Don’t say I didn’t warn you about her. Charming. Relaxed around the male birds. Likes attention. A real talker. Flirtatious. But somewhat withholding, isn’t she? Something of a tease, eh? And of course, she’s attached. She can say what she wants about how dull her home life is, how she doesn’t have anyone to talk to, how wonderful you are, how you’re what she’s always been looking for, how she comes alive when she’s with you. In the end, though, it’s hard for any bird to compete with a big bowl of tunafish.
