Sure, we’ve seen more colorful characters in Times Square, but Bloomfield Ave. isn’t Times Square, so at our second sighting of the Statue of Liberty man on Bloomfield Ave. this past week, we pulled over and decided to take a picture.The man in the green suit is Reginald Dent of Newark, and he’s advertising Liberty Tax Service, 295 Bloomfield Ave., a tax-preparation franchise (with a play area for kids!) owned by a Verona couple Andrew and Andrea Santamaria. Dent and the folks in the Liberty office were very excited to tell us about a “Soup or Bowl” collection they’re doing between now and Feb. 4, the day before the Super Bowl.
