Happy Lunar Landing Anniversary, Buzz

 

Today marks the 43rd anniversary of the first lunar landing and moon walk, co-starring one of Montclair’s most famous native sons, Buzz Aldrin. If you want to relive the experience, a website will be re-broadcasting acclaimed CBS anchor Walter Cronkite’s play-by-play of the glorious event. Toast Aldrin with orange Tang and moon walk back in time to 1969!

  1. Watching right now. Very cool! Though I must wonder…how is it we could put a man on the moon, yet we couldn’t figure out how to broadcast it in color?
