Montclair Public Schools Deemed High Performing by NJ DoE

According to the district website, Montclair Public Schools underwent a Quality Single Accountability Continuum (QSAC) district performance review last spring and was deemed “high performing” in five key areas: Instruction and Program (87%), Fiscal Management (100%), Governance (100%), Operations (95%) and Personnel (100%).

The QSAC is the Department of Education’s monitoring and evaluation system for public school districts. According to the official document outlining the positive results, “Acting Commissioner Cerf will recommend to the State Board of Education that the district be certified as providing a thorough and efficient system of education for a period of three years or until the next QSAC review.”
