Every September, local talented parents, who happen to rock, congregate in a backyard and jam. The jam is always for a good cause, as Parents Who Rock‘s goal is to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. This year, PWR will donate all money raised to Montclair MESH to benefit those in need of food assistance.
Here’s a partial list of Parents Who Rock who’s going to be playing: In the Dreamlife, Rich Deans and The RainMakers, Andrew Klewan,Christine Kelly and Dylan, George Greenfield, Rob Halper, The No Rehearsals, David Janowski and Aviva Patz, Sarah Wolman, Dan Sheehan Conspiracy, Ellen Paretti and Tim O’Connor, Lesley Scammel and Chris Mathews, Chris Kunstadter, Aliza and Ciaran, West Essex Chamber Players, Jefferson Newman and the TNT Ramblers. Check back, because more performers may be added when confirmed.
Kids will enjoy face painting provided by Aunt Jean’s Toys and Treats, a kids’ yoga session and delicous Nick’s Shaved Ice, who will donate 25% of sales to Montclair MESH. In addition, School of Rock Montclair will donate a month of free lessons to one lucky winner!

What: Outdoor music fest and fun for families to raise money for Montclair MESH.
Where: Corner of Cedar and High streets in Montclair.
When: Saturday, September 8. Rain date is Sunday, September 9. Noon to 6 p.m.
Cost: No cover charge but donations accepted for the MESH Program.
