A reader from Montclair writes that she found a little, black-and-white cat that is currently hanging out behind their neighbor’s house on Upper Mountain Avenue, between Mt. Hebron and Normal. He/she appears to be very malnourished and weak, but super friendly. The woman called the Montclair Animal Shelter to come pick the cat up but wants to get the word out. If this is your cat, please contact pets@baristanet.com.

I just got word that this guy has been reunited with his owner. This is an elderly cat and I hope he is kept indoors from now on.
Great news! Thanks for sharing Martta.
So glad he is home safe. He is probably thin because of his age. I too hope he will be kept indoors and be safe for the rest of his life!
