A Bloomfield reader writes that her all-black, four-year-old cat, Shadow, has not been seen since Wednesday (9/26). He went missing from the south side of Bloomfield, in the vicinity of Berkeley Heights Park and Bloomfield Avenue, and doesn’t wear a collar. If you have seen Shadow, please contact Baristanet.com.

I saw this cat near the street fair on Fremont St Near the college today. I have never seen this cat in the area before so Im pretty sure this is the same cat
I hope Shadow gets home soon. Please keep your cats indoors-it’s safer (especially black cats around Halloween)! And they should still be spayed or neutered. https://www.humanesociety.org/animals/cats/tips/bringing_outside_cat_indoors.html
GOOD NEWS FROM SHADOW’S OWNER: “I just wanted to update you with some great news —- Shadow has been found! He had been in a neighbor’s garage. They have no idea how he could have gotten in, and were out of town for several days. Believe me — with Halloween coming up, he will be staying inside with us, that’s for sure! Thank you so much for posting the announcement. What a wonderful service!”
