The League of Women Voters of the Montclair Area Education Fund is sponsoring a Candidates’ Night for Little Falls Mayoral and Town Council candidates. The forum will be held on Wednesday, October 10th from 7 to 9:30 pm in the auditorium of the Passaic Valley High School, 100 East Main Street, Little Falls, New Jersey.
Democratic candidate Joseph Sisco and Independent candidate Donald Radcliffe of Taxpayers Come First will challenge incumbent Republican Mayor Darlene Post for a four-year term. Democratic candidates James Damiano and Cassandra Lazzara are challenging incumbent Republican Council President Louis Fontana and Councilor Pamela Porter for four-year terms on the Town Council. Democratic candidate Rosemarie Bello-Truland and Republican candidate Joseph Rento are running to fill a two-year unexpired term on the Town Council.
The forum will be moderated by the League of Women Voters in a question and answer debate format. Members of the audience will have an opportunity to submit written questions to the candidates. Montclair State University students from the Government Relations department will be volunteering as time keepers. Students from Passaic Valley High School will videotape the forum which will be rebroadcast on PVTV.
