The 27th Annual Swedish Christmas Fair, at the Commonwealth Club in Upper Montclair was as picturesque as ever. Members of the New Jersey Chapter of the Women’s Educational Association hosted the event wearing traditional costumes. Children carried candles and sang songs during the Lucia pageant, handmade holiday decorations were offered for sale and the food shop featured herring, cheese, breads and homemade cookies. Along with children’s activities and live accordion music, the Swedish Cafe served sandwiches and pastries.
