November 6, 2012
Power has been restored to all of our schools. All schools will reopen tomorrow and will operate on a full day schedule on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week.
The bus route changes announced yesterday will remain in effect for the remainder of the week. The specific changes to the bus routes were communicated by phone to all affected families. This information was also posted on the Montclair Public
Schools website, www.montclair.k12.nj.us, and shared with news outlets. Normal bus routes will be reinstated on Monday, November 12.
Food service will be available at all schools.
We thank parents and members of the community for their continued diligence in helping to keep sidewalks clear. These efforts will help to ensure that students who walk or bike to school will be able to get to school safely. The PTAs have
generously offered to provide extra support in getting students to school, if needed.
We understand that some of our families may still be experiencing storm related challenges. Additionally, some of our students and families may have made commitments for Thursday and Friday − November 8 – 9, 2012. We will work with our families to be flexible with any resulting school absences.
We look forward to welcoming all of our students back to school.
