Friday night in Maplewood offers the Rent Party. It’s a monthly party, founded in 2009 in conjunction with the South Orange Elks, to benefit food pantries and fight hunger in SOMA. Every dollar that you donate is matched by the HK Project of Maplewood and South Orange and all the dough that they raise helps fight hunger in the community. Good music, good cause.
