WINNER: Congratulations to alex8194!

Want to get in the mood? For me, a little pampering always works. If I’m looking my best, I’m feeling my best. A good massage, perfect pedicure, glowing skin—make for confidence. And if you’re a parent, you’re most likely feeling tired and rundown, especially with this winter weather. We’re here to help. Because Valentine’s Day is coming up, we want to offer you some pampering. You deserve it.

Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa in Montclair offers many ways to do just that. In addition to their regular spa services, Bangz is offering special Mimosa or Rose oil massages and a Sweet Red Rose Facial just for Valentine’s Day. Or indulge in a Mimosa For Two massage for couples.

Thanks to the generosity of Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa, we have a $100 gift certificate to use for a spa service of your choice to give to one very lucky reader…

To enter, tell us your favorite way to pamper yourself in comments. It’s a full body massage for me, but even a foot rub has what it takes to make me de-stress. One person who replies to this post by 11:59 pm EST on Sunday, February 2, 2013 will be chosen at random to receive a $100 spa gift certificate to Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa. Please post only once.

No purchase necessary. Starts Monday, January 28, 2012 at 2 pm EST and ends Sunday, February 2, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. Open to U.S. residents ages 18 years and older. Void where prohibited.

You MUST leave a comment here to be entered and you may only comment once to get an entry, but if you want another entry and up your chances of winning, here are a couple of ways:

Would love a pedicure and some warm wax for my feet.

  5. POSTED BY crankinmontclair  |  January 28, 2013 @ 2:46 pm

    Massage please!

  6. POSTED BY Grover  |  January 28, 2013 @ 2:46 pm

I’m in late pregnancy and would love some pampering. Even a short shoulder rub from my husband helps me relax, but a full on massage by a pro is the best.

  7. POSTED BY ali9ia  |  January 28, 2013 @ 3:05 pm

Massage, aromatherapy oil, and a full-body scrub is definitely the way to go!! Love those hydrotherapy baths also. SOOOO relaxing…. Add some champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries, and I am in heaven.

I have this condition called stay-at-homeitis, sadly, it is only cured by deep tissue massages and/or full days of solitude. With 2 kids under 4 I would say only one of these options is plausible. Me, me, me!!

  9. POSTED BY shallot  |  January 28, 2013 @ 3:38 pm

A massage would be pampering, since I rarely treat myself. Chocolate should be involved as well…but I treat myself to that nearly every day.

Oooww… I rarely treat myself, but an aromatherapy massage and/or a facial are wonderful ways to feel truly pampered. Add some flowers, chocolate and and something sparkling to drink, and I’ll be set… Bring it on!

A good massage isn’t even pampering – it’s a must once in a while! Pedicures are the ultimate pamper fest for me, just because I get someone to touch my feet for an hour.

  12. POSTED BY coffeechip  |  January 28, 2013 @ 5:15 pm

Hot mineral bath followed by being wrapped in blankets and then a cold shower at Ojo Caliente, NM. This would go to a massage for my wife.

  14. POSTED BY angelfrias  |  January 28, 2013 @ 5:52 pm

I’ve cut my own hair, my kids’ hair, my husband’s hair and even my dog’s hair for over 10 years. Don’t worry – all different styles, I promise. I could use a break!

  15. POSTED BY urbanpark  |  January 28, 2013 @ 6:00 pm

A massage is the best, but even getting a simple haircut feels luxurious to me, the hair washing, being without the kids for an hour and leaving feeling like a new person.

When I’m short on time and/or money, a nice manicure is a great treat!

  19. POSTED BY papahuey  |  January 29, 2013 @ 9:27 am

The best way to pamper myself, is to pamper… my wife. A deep leg rub and foot massage after a long day on her feet will lead to canoodling and cuddling, which pampers me.

I am hoping to win for wy wife. As a mother of twin two year old boys, I know she would love a full body massage! I’d like to think the back rubs I give her here and there do the trick, but know this would be wonderful for her!

  32. POSTED BY akd78  |  January 30, 2013 @ 1:44 pm

Anything that involves sitting silently in a kid-free zone.

  34. POSTED BY lydia  |  January 30, 2013 @ 8:22 pm

I love an aromatherapy massage. I have to have one late in the day because it makes me so relaxed that I fall asleep. This competition for Valentine’s day quotes a lot of entries already. I can not think of any suitable Valentine quotes for this so good luck to everyone. May the winner have a wonderful day at the spa.

I had a shiatsu massage once and I thought it was amazing. However, I do have to agree with akd78. Anything that involves sitting silently in a kid free zone is fine with me.

I'm struck by how much attention is being paid to the details of a parking lot, as opposed to the attention paid to the future impact of the monstrous projects being planned.
