Church Street Crepes Redux In Montclair

Crepe lovers: your prayers for Church Street have been answered–yet again. First, Cafe La Crepe opened on Montclair’s quaint restaurant row last month. Then, over the weekend, Le Petit Parisien added authentic French crepes, and galettes made from buckwheat flour to their menu. The French cafe already serves some of the best macarons and other pastries, quiches, sandwiches, coffee, and hot chocolate in Montclair.

Le Petit Parisien’s “noisette” (Nutella) and “les fruits rouges” (strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry) crepes are divine. I can’t wait to go back and try the “classique” (egg, ham, and gruyere cheese) and “4 fromage” (brie, roquefort, mozzarella, and goat cheese) galettes.

Meanwhile, with Bonjour Montclair still serving their own brand of delicious crepes, sandwiches, and salads over on Park Street, local crepe connoisseurs have scored the perfect trifecta.
