Attention Foodies, Oenophiles and Bibliophiles! You’ll want to save the date for the Grape Expectations Food and Wine event in support of the Montclair Public Library on Saturday, September 28.
The unique wine and food event with a ‘Twist’ will celebrate the works of Charles Dickens with a night of wine, food and fun. Eric Asimov, chief wine critic for The New York Times and the author of “How to Love Wine: A Memoir and Manifesto,” will attend. Amanti Vino work with Mr. Asimov to select an array of interesting wines for the event. Local chefs—Michael Carrino from Pig and Prince Gastropub, Mark Papera of Fricassee, Jennifer Snyder of The Little Daisy Bake Shop, Grace Grund of Terra, 12 West, CulinAriane and more—have signed on to create dishes inspired by the works of Charles Dickens to delight supporters at the fundraiser.
Other local businesses, like Baristanet and Barista Kids, are signing on as sponsors to show their support for our community library which supports our whole town.
